An important application involves school-bus stop-arm safety. When a school bus has its stop arm extended and a vehicle illegally continues past the stopped bus, the technology can capture information that can assist with identifying the vehicle involved.

This creates an additional layer of protection for students during one of the most vulnerable parts of their school day—getting on and off the school bus.
